Nathan Peterman’s first start a disaster for Bills

Tyrod Taylor had thrown just three interceptions all season. Nathan Peterman did that in a quarter on Sunday.

Despite the four picks, the Chargers stuck with Peterman as Taylor remained on the sideline. Taylor had completed 64 percent of his passes for 1,684 yards and 10 touchdowns to three interceptions. Not helping matters for Peterman is that wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin was lost on the first series of the game with a knee injury after making a 20-yard catch.

A fifth interception in the first half led to a Chargers field goal as the Bolts built a 37-7 halftime lead. After the Chargers added fourth Nick Novak field goal on the opening series of the second half, Taylor took the field at quarterback.

Winston acknowledged the report and denied the accusations in a statement, asserting that Kate “was confused as to the number of passengers in the car and who was sitting next to her.”

Nine months after the alleged incident with Kate, Winston settled a civil lawsuit stemming from rape allegations in 2012. Darby, who was Winston’s teammate at Florida State, had previously witnessed that encounter.

Clayborn set a franchise record with his six sacks of Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott during Sunday’s 27-7 win in Atlanta. His six sacks are tied for the second-most in a game since the individual sack became an official statistic in 1982. Only Pro Football Hall of Famer Derrick Thomas (7 sacks on Nov. 11, 1990) had more sacks in a single game. Clayborn also forced two fumbles and recovered one fumble.
