Would Lions’ overturned TD have stood if they had snapped the ball sooner for the PAT attempt?
If the Lions thought the score was already confirmed, there was not really any reason to rush the snap. Unfortunately for them, it wasn’t confirmed.
The Lions really needed seven points instead of a field goal. They’re trailing the Vikings 27-13.
You might not know it, but the Chargers have one of the best pass-rushing duos in the league with Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram. Together, they have a total of 19 sacks. Bosa is looking for his seventh consecutive game with a sack. Ingram returned a fumble for a touchdown last week.
Dallas started the season with one of the best offensive lines in the game, but injuries have taken a toll lately. Left tackle Tyron Smith missed the last two games with a groin injury. During that two-game stretch, quarterback Dak Prescott was sacked 12 times. He also tossed a trio of picks last week in the face of a relentless Eagles pass rush and had the worst game of his career by any measure.
Amari Cooper left Broncos vs. Raiders in the second quarter after taking a brutal hit from safety Darian Stewart. Cooper was initially knocked unconscious.
Cooper has been ruled out for the Raiders’ Week 13 matchup against the Giants. Broncos safety Darian Stewart was fined $24,309 for the hit that concussed Cooper, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
The team confirmed that Cooper has a concussion and he remained out for the rest of the game.
Medical staff brought out the cart for Cooper, but he was able to get up and walk off the field under his own power.
Stewart was flagged for unnecessary roughness. But it wasn’t a helmet-to-helmet hit. It looks more like incidental contact.
