The Chicago Blackhawks staggered home last week in desperate need of some positive results.

Kane then set up Schmaltz with a slick pass for a one-timer with 3:02 left. It was Schmaltz’s first goal since Nov. 27 and No. 5 on the season.

“We’ve got to learn to play under pressure,” Arizona coach Rick Tocchet said. “They got that goal there to go ahead and we got it back with five minutes left under pressure. A couple of giveaways, people sinking and you’ve got to play under pressure in this league. It’s a hard league.”

Before the bye week, the Chiefs went to Dallas and lost 28-17 in a game that wasn’t as close as the score indicated. Following a regular season bye week, Andy Reid’s teams are 16-2. The Chiefs traveled to the 1-8 Giants and got embarrassed 12-9, with a pathetic offensive performance. Fast-forward to Sunday, and the Chiefs offense couldn’t get it done again, and they lost 16-10 at home to the Bills.

Plus, Johnathan Simmons added a career-high 29 points for Orlando.

Ilyasova scored 10 of Atlanta’s first 14 points and had 13 in the first period.

Rolland-Jones is second in the nation with 1.18 sacks per game. He became the third player to win the Sun Belt’s top honor in consecutive seasons, the first since Arkansas State quarterback Ryan Aplin won in 2011 and 2012.

“It’s a wonderful feeling,” said Rolland-Jones, who is also seventh in the nation with 1.7 tackles for loss per game. “It’s a blessing. I’m just thankful God put me in this position.”
