Discover and experience Dumaguete, dubbed the "City of Gentle People" --a fitting compliment to the unhurried lifestyle of Dumagueteños. First stop is the Silliman University, where we take you on a walking tour of the campus dotted with century-old acacia trees. Next is a rolling tour of the city's landmarks follows, including Claytown Pottery, Ninoy Aquino Park, the new Convention Center, the bustling Public Market, and the historical Sta. Catalina de Alexandria Church & Bellfry.

A quick trip down south of Dumaguete takes you to Negros Oriental Arts and Heritage (NOAH) which houses the stone-craft factory & showroom in Bacong , and the century-old San Agustin Church. OR you can head up to Forest Camp in Valencia, for a quick tour of this lush camp set amidst a forest setting, with a hanging bridge, natural and man-made pools and lagoons, and low waterfalls.


Lastly, you will pass through Rizal Boulevard, and visit Sidlakang Negros for some handicraft and delicacies. A delectable lunch awaits you at Lab-as Seafoods, a popular restaurant by the sea, which offers live fresh fish, crabs, oysters, and other native
specialties.

An hour's drive north of Dumaguete brings you to Bais City, where an oversized outrigger motorboat will cruise you along Tañon Strait to spot dolphins, and if lucky,whales too! You will also visit the Campuyo White Sandbar where you can swim and snorkel in its clear blue waters, or just laze around the fine white sand beach.
 

Cap off the day with a hearty lunch onboard of mixed grill. On the way back, you will cruise along the Talabong Mangrove Islet a 400-hectare protected mangrove forest which serves as natural habitat of birds and other wildlife.

Best to be in your swimsuit upon boarding. There is no shower facility on the boat, just be ready
with dry clothes if you wish to change for the hour-long roadtrip back to Dumaguete.

Enjoy the outdoors as you head northwest passing thru sugar plantations and rice fields, to the mountaintop town of Mabinay-- home to numerous caves ranging from the easy basic caves to advanced. Here you get the chance to spelunk three different caves. Experience getting your feet wet, ducking under centuries-old stalactites while observing other insects amid the calcite formations and underground spring water. Take a refreshing dip at the Mabinay Springs to cap off the day.

Tucked 1500M above sea level, northwest of Dumaguete, the twin lakes of Balinsasayao offer scenic views and some good hikes. A choice of a half-day trek or an hour ride on a 4WD truck gets you to the lake. Spend the day, swimming, kayaking or paddling on a local banca, or trek your way through a 30-minute rock trail around the lake.

Discover the mystical island paradise of Siquijor, also known as "The Island of Fire" which refers to the eerie luminiscence produced by swarms of fireflies nestled among the foliage of molave trees.

 

A 50-minute fastferry trip from Dumaguete takes you direct to the capital town of Siquijor.
 

Your island excursion begins with a rolling tour of quaint coastal towns of Larena and Enrique Villanueva. Packed lunch is at the popular Salagdoong Beach in Maria, where you can swim and laze around in its fine, white sand beach. You will then proceed to the historical town of Lazi and marvel at the century old St Isidore Labradore Church and Convent. If time permits, a quick visit to the Cambugahay Falls can be arranged or witness a 'bolobolo'
session by a folk healer. Next is a brief stop at Coco Grove Beach Resort with its wide beachfront. Pass thru San Juan de Capilay Spring and St Francis
